    A few short years ago (4, I think) the Chinese government invited a committee of top Montessori (AMI) representatives to visit the country and explain the benefits of Montessori education.

    Meanwhile, the US government is doing everything possible to prevent Montessori from entering public schools.

    If I were China, I'd be laughing, too.
